Orlando Charm Company reads dangle, plate, and starter. Marking a family on the catalog page is a way to remember what you want to mention. The note is the thing that matters.

A useful note sounds like speech:

Letter dangle E for a park-week wrist. Lozenge plate with a center hole. We already wear a 7-inch link starter with a lobster clasp. Staying on International Drive the second week of March.

That names a family, a letter, a hole, a wrist, and an Orlando week.

Name the family

Open Catalog. Filter dangle, plate, or starter if that helps you think. Mark the faces you want in the note. A disc dangle and a lozenge plate can sit in the same message.

Write the family names in the message field even if you marked tiles. Tiles are a memory aid. The sentence is what we read.

Use the catalog’s own English:

  • Dangle: disc, drop, letter, open.
  • Plate: shield, lozenge, tag, disc.
  • Starter: starter set, jump-ring, clasp, chain.

If two families belong together, say how. “Starter set with one empty place for a letter dangle” is clearer than a list of five tiles with no grammar.

Letter, hole, and the wrist you already wear

These three details save a round of mail.

Letter

If you want a letter dangle, name the letter. Name the person only if you want that on the record of the note. One letter per dangle unless you say you want more than one hanging letter.

Hole

If you want a plate, say where the hole sits: top of a shield, center of a lozenge, end of a tag, through a disc. The International Gem Society treats the jump ring as the opener that goes through that hole. If the hole is wrong, the hang is wrong.

Wrist you already wear

Describe it:

  • Length you actually wear, or the wrist measurement plus ease.
  • Clasp kind you can name in English (lobster, spring-ring, toggle, barrel).
  • Whether the links are open enough to take a jump ring.
  • Whether a plate or dangle is already sitting there, and on which side of the clasp.

James Avery’s sizing guide is the public length convention: measure just below the wrist bone; for a charm bracelet add one inch; women’s charm lengths commonly run 6½ to 7½ inches, with 7 inches the most used. If you already live on a number, send that number. If you are starting, send the wrist measurement and whether you want that extra inch.

Metal against Orlando heat is worth a line. A large plate face sits on skin in July. A drop taps a laptop in a downtown office. “Sits close to the ring” or “short hang” is enough.

Park weeks, hotels, and apartments

Write from where you actually are. The family names do not change; the logistics line might.

Note

Do not put a credit-card hold, a room number, or a confirmation code in the public form. A guest last name and an arrival date are the usual hotel-hold pair.

Paste this and replace the brackets:

I am writing from [Orlando neighborhood or hotel]. I want [dangle / plate / starter]. If a letter: the letter is [X]. If a plate: the hole should sit [at the top / through the center / at the end of the tag]. I already wear [length, clasp, link description], or I need a starter for a wrist that measures [inches] and I want the extra inch of ease. Stamp on a tag plate, if any: [words in order].

Send that through the form.

FAQ

Do I have to mark tiles first? No. Tiles help you remember. The form is enough.

Can I write only about a letter? Yes. “Letter dangle J, park week, child’s wrist, starter already 6.5 inches with ease” is a complete inquire.

What if I do not know my length? Measure below the wrist bone, or describe the starter you already wear. The James Avery guide linked above is the convention we use in copy.
